Dead right there GJ .... Mentalist tell your son he is the BEST and well done him for being an individual. My daughter got bullied all the way through school and after from being 7 years old. She had a misery of a life and all I could do was try and support her and make her feel good about herself. She's 22 now and is a fantastic, confident person. Unique ... and a pleasure to be around. She's a happy stronger person for it all.

Thanks everyone. Yes he is unique and intelligent. I just hate that in society it is a crime to be different. Shake Head

Sorry hit post before I'd finished Roll Eyes

Pepsi, it's good to hear that they can come out the other end all the stronger for it and I hope it happens for my son. However there are a lot of children and adults out there who are made to feel ashamed of their differences and whilst we have people in the world like Kris it will never improve!

I love the unique and different. Nod

Menty, your son would be on my party invites.

That has chocked(sp) me up. This thread hit a nerve, just come back from the school about this very issue and all I can do is be as supportive as possible, when all I really want to do is knock their blocks off.

I understand, believe me.

It may not help right now Menty, it will take some time and unfortunately some heartbreak Hug but the bigger picture is better.

There`s a whole better welcoming world waiting for your son. Trust me, he will find his ilk in time Hug

That's all you can do and wanting to knock their blocks off is a natural feeling.

I hope you can get the situation sorted out Hug
