Hey tupps, if you're still there, dont suppose you've any idea how to get from Euston to East Croydon? I think its the Victoria Line, but Ive no sense of direction. Ive looked on the network rail website and its still all greek to me. Plus they say theres engineering works and tubes may be replaced with buses!!! My bloody kids!!quote:Originally posted by tupps:

then it's mainline train... take the Southern toward Horsham OR the Southern towards Brighton OR the Southern towards Ore..

The more regular trains from Victoria to East Croydon, would be Epsom or Caterham bound.
14:42 Euston (leave) - Victoria Line toward Brixton (so that is Southbound)... get off at Victoria and make your way to the mainline station it'll be signposted..
15:02 (leave) Victoria Rail Station - take the Southern toward Bognor Regis OR Southern toward Brighton
Arrive at East Croydon at 15:17... walk to the travelodge is about 15 mins..
from Euston to East Croydon they are Zones 1-5.. if you need to get a travelcard for t'underground..

LMS.. if you need to sort out travel in that London then TFL website is the place to go.
In their journey planner (advanced options) just put in the details of where you are coming from/going to/time of travel and it'll give you your route..

No worries.
As a matter of fact, West Croydon station is alot closer to HMV, and again more regular from Victoria.
