Is it really impossible to buy clothes that fit you? I have yet to see Sophie in any clothes that fit her tiny frame with those big boobies.

i believe that clothes are made in sizes, if you bugger up your size by enhancing your boobs to abnormal proportions then off the peg gear is not going to fit properly.
I have terrible trouble
pops in to sneer in jealousy
not many then and of course i'm telling the truth

thought I was Tiddly
I had BB on for a couple of mins today and was thinking the same thing. You would have to get clothes specially made.
I'm a natural 32G. It can be difficult to buy clothes as to fit the bust they have to be larger around the waist/hips.
Stretchy tops and dresses are OK but otherwise I buy a larger size to fit the bust and alter the rest of it. Also there are specialists like Bravissimo who make dresses and tops in standard sizes but specially tailored to fit the larger bust (eg, curvy, really curvy, super curvy).

I am not so bad as I used to be but I was a 21" waist with a D-cup top half in my younger days and, yes, it was a bugger trying to find clothes that fitted.
I was lucky because at that time (early 1990's) it was the whole baggy thing going on and so people just tended to buy XXL T-shirts what ever and there wasn't the pressure on young girls to flaunt their bod as there is now (I sound so old). Mind, there wasn't really Boob jobs then unless you were a weirdo celeb.

clothes these day have a lot of lycra in them, which helps to hug the figure, but they do not always look good on big boobies.

If you buy an off the peg item that fits the bust properly it swamps you everywhere else and feels like you're wearing a marquee with much too much material to tuck in. It's such a horrible thing!
My aunt was a seamstress and taught me how to alter my clothes by putting in darts etc. Investing in a sewing machine was worth its weight in gold. There's also the added bonus of using the excess material to make matching scrunchies, etc.

Thanks I was wondering, coz Sophies clothes just don't cover her boobs. Wouldn't it be better to buy to cover the boobs rather than anything else.
I promise you I am looking you all in the eye

Personally me, I think she purposely buys 13yr old bras and tops to show off what the surgeon gave her ....quote:Originally posted by Mentalist:

Its not just slim and busty and am big and busty and its still just as hard to get clothes to fit around the bust
Great thread!
Im a 34dd and its hard to buy clothes that fit your bust because they are usually too big on the waist. I think clothes designers should make better sizes for women.
I also think Sophies boobs look quite ridiculous! they're so out of proportion on her small frame.
Yeah, I just wear tent tops.
I've a couple of lovely jersey dresses(primark natch so didnt cost the earth), but they fit perfectly and are very flattering.I spent years disguising the fact I was top heavy and just looked fat by swamping myself.I'm by no means skinny, but wearing things that fit the bust are way more slimming.
For work I tend to wear seperates...the top being a size bigger than the skirt or trousers. The only real no no for me is a wraparound dress/top as they tend to gape ..and of course stay clear from any fussy tops which make me look like an old granny!!

Button through blouses are a nightmare!!
I have terrible trouble
I have enormous boobs and have to get tops 3 sizes bigger than my bottom half ... which is fine for separates, but when it comes to dresses or suits etc. impossible.
I have to say though that Sophie obviously does it on purpose ... give her a few years and it'll all head south

Same here Pepsi
I'm a size 10/12 bottoms(depending on the shop),but often have to buy a 16 in a shirt so it buttons up.
I do find a size 12 jersey dress does stretch over my bood tho
A classmate at school was slim but was 40DD or something. I commented that her school sweaters were always too short and she told me it was the largest she could get and invited me (then a skinny boy) to try it on. It came down to my knees almost. We fell about laughing, to the bemusement of a passing teacher!
