I can put photos onto a cd no problem that plays on the DVD player but i want to add txt between the photos and music playing through out.

I could probably work this out over time but i want to get started on this project as soon as possible. I am still gathering pictures but my day off tomorrow is going to be dedicated to doing this

I would insert all the pics into a PowerPoint photo album - then you can do lots of fun stuff using PowerPoint

lol i've started on powerpoint but so far have only got the music paying on the first slide and not sure it would play on a dvd player

If your using a PC use Windows Movie Maker.

It's basic stuff but you should be able to do a lot with it.

try using Googles Picasa its free and does a nice job

i did this in 10 mins took longer to upload to youtube...

I love Picasa and am deffo going to use it, but it isn't going to work for this project
