I'm still having trouble getting used to mods that actually talk to us, even when we haven't been bad.
I feel a bit Eeker about answering them...I'm a sad bunny really.

We have a professional league here, the MLS. http://web.mlsnet.com/index.jsp. I don't know much about it, soccer is not my game. I think most of you are familiar with David Beckham? I recall hearing that he signed with a MSL team, but was lent to a team that is playing in Spain? Not sure how that works at all.

Then we have football, played with an oblong ball similar to a rugby ball. Players do wear helmets and shoulder pads as the idea is to hit each other and knock each other down. That's a lot of weight and velocity, the collisions could be deadly with no padding. Look at http://www.nfl.com/ for more info. There's a UK site as well, at http://www.nfluk.com/ My favorite team, the New England Patriots will be playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Wembley Stadium this year on Oct 25.

Clapping, thanks Dave Smiler.

I feel so much more comfortable here than I thought I would. I really feel like I've got to know people much more in the few weeks we've been here than I did in over a year at C4. Maybe it's because we've all started on newbie status. Whatever the reason, I'm very happy about it. Valentine

Yep, I'm loving it here too - and I seem to be posting a lot more than I used to. You're probably onto something with everyone being a 'newbie' - and I think there was a bit of the Dunkirk spirit when we were being evicted, making us all pull together!
