of small tomatoes, are the only ones worth eating.
All the force fed, woody pale ones should be outlawed.
Nothing more disappointing than a tasteless tomato!
Except for a hard boiled egg when you wanted a soft one to dip your soldiers in.

Tomatoes in shops dont taste of anything.

I grew some last year (yes! me! like Felicity Kendall!) and as long as you picked them when they were yellow (otherwise they burst) they were great and tasted like olden days tomatoes..ie like tomatoes.

I only ever buy Italian or Spanish tomatoes - much, much tastier than British ones which (as AOTN said) taste of nothing!
