My recollection of that program is, according to the flight trainer “they, the handful of terrorists who went to his training school were only ever interested in learning how to take off a commercial airplane”.
I remember at the time I was thinking the son of a gun was only interested in making money instead of asking questions why they are insisting on learning specific aspects of flying.

I don’t know where the “single engine light aircraft” came from but then again there was more than a handful who were being trained to fly. Or, is it possible that they may have started with a light aircraft before moving on to a commercial airplane somewhere else?

nah one of them was reported to the CIA or FBI forget which BECAUSE he only wanted to learn the flying bit and wasnt interested in the take off n landing part, the "officials" took no action I believe,
another one asked about renting a light aircraft and said he had a pilots licence, but the plane rental people insisted on putting him through a "test" flight, they said he couldnt fly for sh1t and refused to rent him a plane,
another one was kicked off a pilot training course cause he was crap, and it WAS only ever single engined light aircraft,

this, of course is only "stuff" I have read or watched on the interweb,

His desk was by the window, the massive explosion happened, the walls fell in, he managed to get out with relatively slight injuries. He thought it was a bomb attack. He never saw any plane through the window and he was shocked when he was told it was a plane that hit the Pentagon. He never spoke further about what did or did not happen on that day.

its a shame cause I just got finished watching it and it makes for some interesting watching,
all I can say to anyone is, watch it,and then tell me you STILL buy the official story,
the section on the "thug jornalisim" alone is worth a watch,....anyway I think its done to death now,

I read the BBC News report and I'm still of an open mind about 9/11. The video on the BBC page wouldn't work for me. I watched the video in your other link and it wasn't clear enough to decide what I was seeing.

What's always puzzled me, among many things about the whole event, is that for months we saw repeated footage of the Towers falling. After the first day I don't remember seeing any more news coverage of the Pentagon so called attack. Considering it's a Gov't building I would have thought it too would have been shown many many times.

I've watched many videos re the Pentagon and have never seen proof that a 757 hit the building. It's a huge plane, coming into landing would have been extremely noisy, where were all the witnesses that saw and heard it? If that's all wrong then I don't see how anything else about that day could be as some would like the public to believe, well I've never believed it anyway.

Where I was in 9.11? I was in Thailand fast asleep, my housemate woke me up 6am (I was diving instructor at the time) to tell me that WW3 was about to start. well she wasn't wrong. It was great being where I was, you went to a bar and could watch a bit of CNN then walk away from it. I imagine in the UK it was bombardment of images and radio, tv news etc so it was good for all us international folk to sit and have a speculate. Our instant thought (even amongst americans) was that it was 'convenient' for the US however when I returned to UK i realised this type of talk didn't go down too well. I still don't believe any conspiracy, I can just see why it would have been a gift to US and UK so they could start their Holy War.

I was at work. The internet practically stopped. We found a TV and gawped for hours. It was both horrible and very exciting, as I recall.

WELL its a good point to think about WHAT did a bunch of terrorists have to GAIN from such an attack? what did they think? that the most powerfull military force the world has EVER known wouldnt retaliate, I mean, well over 200. 000 dead people later and its STILL not over?

I had just finished work and met my Friend, he we had a Beer then were heading off to the Supermarket to pick some Vegetarian Food up for his Girlfriend (she was coming up from London the following day), anyways, we were just heading off and it came over the Radio that the 2nd plane had hit the Towers.....

....we looked at each other in disbelief, went straight to his and put Sky News on, we sat there for about 4/ 5 hours absolutely dumb-struck....we thought it was some action film when we turned the TV on!!!!!

I went to my Mums after I left his and she was sat watching the News crying at the absolute insaneness and the loss of lives.....the images of the people jumping will stay in my memory forever.....
