ye, but with no success. I also checked my 2ps for ones that said 'new pence ' rather than 'two pence' and got a bit excited when I found three. I soon calmed down when I re-read my newspaper and found that only those minted in 1983 were rare

One bloke on Ebay sold his for £7,500

and I read this morning that offers of up to £20,000 are being made, don't know if that's true though.

I'd have been happy with the £50 the bank of England is offering.......sigh

the other one is just a wind up nobody in there right mind is going to pay that sort of money unlike the 2nd one peeps are bidding and the seller looks ok with good feed back
