tomato plant ok

the things i think are sunflowers or possibly weeds

carrots

parsnips looks like parsley

and something else has appeared which could be catmint

it's all good

My lettuces are coming on well,I have 3 varietys."Lollo Rosso", a red leaved "little Gem".And "Webb's wonderful" a large iceberg type but much greener.Though they took a right battering this morning when we had torrential rain.

My uncle brought some of his lickle baby lettaces(sp) over the other day they were tiny. One for each sarnie.
Actually I know a little boy who'd enjoy growing his own, must look into it.

I believe that I told you before about me Da's Marrows. He used to put a piece of French knitting into a bottle of "Dog" and connect it into the neck of the said marrows.

Just been transferring my young plants into huge pots. Over-did with the seeds though, thinking some would'nt take, so now have about thirty lettuce's, forty tomato plants!

Pea-pods just coming through now, and me spuds about to flower, I am pleased though has it is my first year of growing veggies.

I've got loads of strawberries this year they are still green but are beginning to ripen up,alas the local gang of grey squirrels have their eyes on them.They have already tested them for ripeness.Time for the chicken wire to cover them up.

I have just acquired a Fig tree and a grape vine (chardonney) sp? which should be fun to grow this year.

I have terribly upset my children as I said I wanted the garden this year for flower and pots. So away with the trampoline and pool...

If I am not back you know they got me.

Glad you mentioned that I've got a couple of strawberry plants fruit just starting to come through, glad I can re-plant!
