It's not going on any more, but only because I had to leave large chunks of my life behind It went on for FOUR YEARS. I cut off all contact, changed numbers, stoppped going places, so he started his crap with all my friends, even my family, orchestrated a nice little campaign by proxy, in which of course I was the baddy Many of them realised what a demented creep he was in the end, but damage was done. He tried to ruin my life, but he did me a favour because I got rid of dead wood and now my life is good again

Well, as I said, it was a long time ago, as I am now a lady of (cough) mature years...

When I was in my late teens, there was a group of us who all used to go out together, and he was always hanging around, even though no-one wanted anything to do with him, as he was creepy even then.

We eventually all moved on, and I was working in London, and lived in bed-sit land, and he started turning up wherever I was, even though I kept moving more times than I like to think. (I haven`t got a clue as to how he found me)

Then I married and we had a baby and it really kicked off.

First it was letters, sometimes six or more a day, saying that I had actually had HIS baby, (I wouldn`t touch him with the proverbial barge-pole ) and what I should name her etc, he was also fluctating between thinking I was either the Virgin Mary or Mary Magdelan(sp)

I still don`t know how he found out where we lived!

Then one day, he turned up where we were living, (husband had gone to work) and tried to force his way in.

Luckily a friend had popped in for a coffee and she climbed out of the window and called the police.

Unfortunately, this was before stalking had been made a crime, and all they did was move him on, so it was more of the looking over your shoulder bit all the time...

That happened a couple more times, and I nearly lost my second baby because of it.

Then the letters started again, but from a Physciatric (sp) hospital, so that gave us some relief, until he started making threats against family members, which was very scary.

Then it went quiet for a while, and we read in a local paper that he was in Broadmoor, hospital, but the report didn`t say why.

We upped sticks and moved again and didn`t hear anything for a long time, then my brother started getting phone calls from someone claiming to be an old friend of mine who had just got back from Australia, and wanted my number/address.

He wouldn`t give my brother his name, so was given short thrift, and, touch wood, all has stayed quiet ever since.

There`s a lot more happened that I wont go into, but it was a living nightmare for a few years...

I totally agree with you, this is FAR more uncomfortable to watch than what went on there...

Just means that the next TWO nights hl's show (at least) will be all them two

they are as bad as one another...i had been stalked before myself, a few choice words and actions is all thats needed frankly, so nah....its not all about the bree

they complement each other..magnets and all that, not much to offer btw
