i happened to mention to him that my laptop was caput, and he has come round and lent me his spare laptop in exchange for cassarole and a pint of old speckled hen.

i know.. and he fixed our t'internet connection which was a bit dodgy, and he has taken my old hard drive away to retreive my photos and files off it.
