Dave's original response was absolutely correct. However, I would caution you that any person receiving a PM is fully capable of copy/pasting the content anywhere they wish. So don't PM anything to someone that you wouldn't want out there on the web. (Same goes with email, by the way.)
..and another request...if you think someone is a troll, or multi-id, please use content alert to let us know your suspicion. All posters here are innocent until proven guilty, and any decisions regarding participants will be made in our discretion. I would sincerely hate to see an innocent bystander get plowed under by sometimes overzealous gatekeeping. Let's please make new posters feel welcome, not scrutinized.
I think the OP may mean that if you share a PM with say, 2 fm's and one of them post to another fm with that convo in it, I guess they would see all posts...bit early?

Gawd! this old chestnut again.with all the shouting and pulling faces at each other that goes on here, i doubt very much that the mods here have the time or inclination to read members pm's, bet their inboxes are already overflowing with rubbish and 'he said this , so i said that' type pm's anyways.
for the mods to be able to read your pm's, uninvited would require fiddling around with log ins and passwords and being generally nefarious.
and you have to ask yourself , why would they? are we all so terribly interesting? i very much doubt it..

Exactly. It's not like other forums where Admin are mates with posters. They aren't in any personal grudge match with any other forum. They are doing a job
