I remember in the early years of BB they had looooads of alcohol and some reacted badly to it and needed BB's psychologist's help, of course now that amount would exceed the recommended limits. I also remember an incident in the early years, won't name names but one female HM could have been taken advantage of if another HM, and a surprising one at the time, hadn't stepped in. Maybe that's when they decided to limit the amount, although in the last few years we've seen how alcohol affects the behaviour of some and not in a good way. Don't really know the answer to your question OHG re this year's HM's

That to me is the whole point of the programme......put several people in a house...let them carry on as 'normal'....we watch....we comment....we vote....remember they are in the safest place to exhibit their behaviour...BB is watching them....
