Nooo, the other way around. You put ÂĢ16 on and get ÂĢ1 back plus your stake if you win. I think.

It's the other way round Darlo. You have to put ÂĢ16 on Sophia going in order to get a quid back. Bookies aren't commonly known for giving money away.

No, darlo, it's the other way around - as the odds are 1/16 or 1/12 etc, it means you put ÂĢ16 on to only get ÂĢ1 back.
