I'm sorry while I would never leave my child like that conatct or not. I think the same question would not be asked of a man.quote:Originally posted by mozart:quote:Originally posted by The Singing Ringing Tree:

Yes her and many other celebs, the difference is when in the BB house there can be no contact with the outside world.

i agree with you, although i would ask... if he was a single parent of that child like saffia is to hers.
i wouldn't be too happy with my OH buggering off to the BB house...mind you they wouldn't have him

I agree i would never have left a child of mine, i used to ring several times a day when my daughter used to sleep over at her nans. I think women take more stick when they leave their children is because they are seen as the primary carer, so if a man was the primary carer or single parent then i do believe that he would come under fire as well.
My dad worked over seas for 5 years from when i was born till i was 5, and my mom was a single parents, so why is it ok for men to leave kids for a long period of time and not there mothers?

Because your dad was the main bread winner and his job meant that he had to go away, the argument is when a single parent leaves his/her child, the majority of people think its wrong (me included)when a father works away from home there is not much damage done, but when the mother figure goes away a child can suffer trauma, the same thing would happen if the dad was a sole carer
"Child care experts" have attacked housemate and single mum, Saffia.
Or, the Daily Mail have rung Claude Knights up and asked her whether she approves of Saffia's actions. She has replied, saying,“Leaving a baby for an indeterminate period should not be done without good reason,” she said, adding, “It’s concerning from a developmental point of view.”
Not really an attack, but a response.
