I thought he came across really well....so he mad a couple of awful mistakes (and was rightly punished for them)...but these happened before Jade 's illness and death and he's had to do loads of growing up since then.

There are hundreds of men who have done similar things to him in their youth who have gone on to be upstanding men a few years later.

Its called growing up.

couldn't agree more with you and I have an example in my OH, he made a mistake when he was young and drunk and now is the most perfect family man and husband and dad to my kids that I could have wished for.

whatever your views on this young man, he was admirable when it counted and that was nursing Jade and been there for her when she needed it most.

Absolutely. I thought he came across very well. When he said he feels empty without Jade and that when he visits her grave, he wants to pull her out of the ground, I really felt for him. I think he misses her terribly poor guy.

Why is he relevant again? Disappointed

has he ever been Confused
Not to me anyway Big Grin...

agreed, nor me.

He's relevant because he's running the marathon in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Fund and the nurses who cared for and looked after Jade when she was dying.

I agree with everything you've said.

Considering he's only 21 he's had to deal with such a lot, I think he's coped really well.
I hope now he stays out of trouble and moves on with his life.
The media needs to give him a break.
