I love springwatch.
Ive never really watched it before BUT its a fab show, all those nests and the chance to see wildlife really up close...that little stoat last night with the rabbits.
Every time I turn it on there's another bloody chick dying. It's more depressing than the news.
I love Springwatch, and Chris Packham That Kate Humble annoys me as she always cuts him off mid sentence and seems very controlling! He's the bliddy expert!!

I used to love him on The Really Wild Show, with his blonde mohawk!
I adore Springwatch (and Autumnwatch), it's always essential viewing for me.
And as for Chris Packham, I definitely would

Ohh I will look forward to Autumnwatch Deman .Am not sure if Bill Oddie will return ,hope they keep CP.
Oh, god. When the chicks mum was trying to feed his little lifeless body I had shed a couple then went out to make sure that the bird table was fully stocked. Nature aint fun sometimes.quote:Originally posted by demonickitten:quote:Originally posted by captain marbles:

I think Kate got rid of Bill, I'm sure I read somewhere that she complained about him being difficult to work with. I could be wrong tho.

I think Bill's gone for good and he's not been well lately either, apparently.

I should know better at my age..
Also remember Simon when he was much younger
Loved the skylark chicks and their grassy hairstyles..
And the choughs. I've always had a soft spot for any of the crow family

Bill Oddie had a field day last year when one barn owlet scoffed down the dead body of a smaller sibling: "Big Brother eats Little Brother"

Not watching it as I work too late and No, don't have a crush on CP, I prefer the ladies.

She knows her stuff as well though. She's involved in the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trusts
What I did notice in the first week was she was unusually flirty and screamed and giggled every time he spoke.
She's toned it down a bit now, but is also susceptible to a bit of Packham appeal, I think.
Has anyone else noticed he gets at least one Smiths song title in every evening? There were three last night
