It's heartbreaking for sure. I think the parents have consistently shown such strength and dignity in the wake of their loss.

Losing a child is bad enough, but to face the wall of silence and know that it had something to do with a gang of rabid thugs, still at large, must have been beyond a nightmare.

I wish them well in their future and hope the love they shared with little Rhys brings them comfort for all time. Frowner

Can you imagine having to go through the hell Rhys's parents went through only to arrive in court to find the murdering piece of excrement unremorseful in the dock!!!

Good grief, it's beyond belief really it is.

Why do these abject morons not realise how precious our childrens lives are? To a parent, it's the most sacred of all things we will ever experience. I absolutely despair at how broken some areas in this country are.

It's horrific.

I agree with you. I'm amazed that a so-called gang member could try and kill another member of a gang, kill an innocent young child instead and then go on with no remorse, before, during or after trial. That's staggering. Hope karma truly gets him oneday because to be back at large by middle age in this case, is no justice at all.
