Memory's a strange thing lol, I have no memory of any convo's at Ch4BB about BB being shown on 12005 but CBB weren't. I've always enjoyed CBB so people like me would have been protesting about the different coverage for celebs

I think the red button was unavailable a lot during CBB but if you were like me and never resurfaced out of it you could watch it all day as you didn't get kicked out

Yeah, I remember the red button would "disappear" during BBLB, BBBM and certain other shows (so they were manipulating people to watch them...people who tuned into E4 hoping to press couldn't then they would hang about waiting for it to reappear) but it was there... just at certain times. But as Sossy says, once pressed, that was it, you were "in" and didn't get "kicked out".
But wasn't the red button a different way of accessing the show than having 12005 programmed in

Yeah and now the doubt I'm having w/ this is... With the past CBB's now I think about it, as I said the 12005 never actually worked (whilst the manipulated shows AND Friends re-runs were on I suppose?) - So it sort of dampens my hopes now.
Esp' considering if they're only doing an LF through the night we wouldn't need the R.B anyhow...

Because I also remember being P'd off about not being able to continue watching certain arguments involving Coolio's "Bullying" attitude.

Yup this years one was blocked but I'm convinced last years wasn't.
I also have a vague memory of Olly and angel complaining about lack of access via virgin media but I'm not sure if that was CBB or BB

I know there was a lot of speculation on Ch4 forums that LaToya may have somehow stipulated or persuaded the no live feed thing on the last slebBB...but I dunno.

I remember someone posting at C4BB an email or article where BB/EndemoÂĢ said the removal of L/F was for financial reasons, can't remember all the specific details that were mentioned now.
I remember it because I'd always thought - and posted my thoughts a few times - that their previous statement about the public preferring to watch video clips was an excuse as it was so obvious that putting up vid clips was a heck of a lot cheaper than having to pay wages to so many technicians and production staff as part of LF
