Some of the daftest things Big Brother has done

I was wondering what people think are some of the daftest things (irritating, futile, plain silly, unworkeable, unfair to viewers etc...) that the producers have done.

The one I think is daft and annoying is renaming people Halfwit and Dogface. It lost its interest after 2 minutes and now just annoys.
I suspect it is possible that those names could give those 2 contestants a negative slant in the minds of the viewers.

Another daft one, I thought, was the inside-out house (fridge in the garden and so on.)

I was reading Ian Hyland in the NOTW...it's usually good for BB gossip, but there's very little.
Hyland commented on the falling viewer figures and said that C4's decision to drop the LF, was the worst decision the producers have ever made.

For once......Big up the Hyland

They could have at least made sure that they found it before the end - waste of time!

Don't know about daft but plain stupid was the bedsit episode in BB5 - then returning the girls - fight night!

I thought the rich/poor divide in bb3 was brilliant but didn't work when they tried to do it last year...

but then they still cared about the program back in BB3 and i thought it was hilarious when tim ended up on the rish side on his own

* Treating live feed viewers as fools when they edit the highlights to resemble NOTHING of an actual significant event

* Stopping the HMs from buying the copious amounts of alcohol they were allowed to buy up to and including BB3. It really loosened the HMs up and there was always something interesting going on.

I was going to include the removal of the BB forum but in hindsight, this one is FAR, FAR better!

the jail rubbish

telling housemates in diary room they are not allowed to nominate because they talked of eviction when they should have told house exactly what they said not just culprit

putting in nicole and she could win was real housemate

nikki going in

no live feed

not showing the plasma enough when they talk out of turn

I don't know when the epiphany was exactly but when it all became obvious that BB was manipulating it all.

Up to a point (for at least nos. 1 to 3 BB's) they played a more subtle rule based game with the HM's. Then they overly messed around with the format plus the votes/viewers - from then on it became so obviously rigged to suit them.

^Sorry if that's a dull answer, but that's how I feel.
