dig a small piece of pavement up at night so no-one sees you then hit your toe with a hammer and swiftly sue the council

I also know someone who has done this aswell! But when my mum really did fall and cause herself serious injury the council were a nightmare about it...probably because of those people who make false claims.

Any cash I hide in the bookshelf. I'm buggered if Mrs. Bleads ever develops a taste for the classics.

She found my savings book the other day and has already stared planning a trip to Brazil for december. I wouldn't mind but we've only just got back from a holiday.

Work with cash rather than going to the shop and using a debit card. You can keep better track of your spending that way. Allow yourself a set amount of cash each week and stick to it.

Make a list of all the things you pay out for now like gas and electric and so on.
Anything that isn't essential cancel if you can.

The old saying of watch the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves is true.
It's amazing how lots of small purchases that don't amount to much in themselves add up to a lot of money at the end of the month.

Watch your food bill. Don't buy too many goodies and snacks.
Stick to what you know will get eaten to cut down on any waste.

Think about changing energy or phone providers, you might get a better deal than the ones you have now and save yourself pounds.
