I think she looks ok as she is.

She should do what she feels comfortable with.

She probably gets away with it more cos she's on telly.
My mate suffers the same, but she only takes her wig off at home, as she gets very cruel comments from people if she doesnt wear it.
So personal choice.

Haven't read all the posts but saw a docu she made in talking to other women who'd lost their hair.

One woman who had the same condition had a whole lot of wigs in different colours and hair lengths. Gail had fun trying them on and went out with the woman wearing one and they both had a lot of laughs together.

At the end of prog she went back home to hubby wearing a wig to surprise him and they both giggled and then she took the wig off. Her hubby loves how she looks without one and she feels more comfortable without one. She does a lot to promote the condition and although when she was with a Consultant who after tests told her he doubted her hair would grow back which upset her at the time she seemed to come to terms with it in the end.

I saw her do a programme about her aloprecia years ago ....she searched high and low to find a wig that was right and comfortable.

She ended up prefering to stay bald .............i have to say I'll bet wearing a wig all day every day is hellishly uncomfortable. Good luck to her I say.

Why the hell should she wear a wig, just because certain people don't like the shape of her head? Pathetic.

It's up to her,she doesn't want to then that's fine.Tough if anyone else doesn't like it.

It's been so long since I've seen Gail with hair, I'm used to her bald and I think it suits her.

Yep, so true.

I think she is a very attractive looking lady regardless of hair and she comes across as such a nice person.

I could only hope I could look HALF as good as her bald
