Davina calls for LF to return..

I dont think there more than the smallest handful of people who watch LF 24/7
( even the "despised" jobless and people on benefits have to sleep sometimes)

but the point IS when its ON there is SOMEONE watching at every minute of the day, and this way WE get to hear who said what to who at 3.30 am, and the newspapers report on it
(I dont read em my self, but SOMONE does)

and WE all end up with a much better idea of the HMs personalities, and THAT is why people are angry about the removal of live feed,

I wont even mention that no live feed also leaves the door wide open for c4 to "cheat"
and to instruct the HMs etc....oh...I did,

Don't mean to be rude Maz because I like a lot of your posts but Davvy doesn't seem to tell anyone here to "Get over it"

What's going on here is that people seem to think that she has ANY KIND OF SAY OR INFLUENCE on BB/LF and are CONSTANTLY bugging her about it, on her Twitter page which IMHO as much as I think she's a bit of meanie for accepting the pay rise to host ONE BBBM a week, is really unfair on her!

As "Who is she" said. IS a HUGE BB Fan and I happen to know from places she used to blog/post on prior BBs that when she wasn't busy at the studio and whatnot during the series she too was watching the LF.

ETA: just read the bit where she says it. She's actually talking about those who keep discussing the ratings, that had nothing to do w/ the LF exclusively! - And again I refer to the second paragraph of this comment.

No offence Maz but why're you getting antsy over someone elses opinion/correction on a comment made by Davina McCall?

You admitted you've only just joined Twitter, I've used Twitter for the best part of well honestly I don't know how long. I was explaining that you'll only see a one sided conversation unless you have both Davina and those she's actually referring to, as friends.

She clearly says: All you ratings obsessives, get over it.

She doesn't say: All you Live Feed obsessives, get over it.

It's two completely different things, she's tweeting about.

That's not quite true Dean, her "tweet" was not aimed at (@) anyone so it was a general tweet to all her followers, there was no conversation to, in fact, follow.

Okay then fair enough, if it was a general tweet. But that still doesn't change the fact she clearly indicates and directs it at "RATINGS obsessives" and not those who she's recently informed that she understands their feelings, in the "LIVE FEED obsessives"

It just feels like a knock on Davina, when she evidently hasn't gone back on something she previously said? There's no way that could be mistaken to mean those tweeting about LF.

ok i read it as Rantings - easy mistake to make is it not when i have other things going on at work - you have, of couse, proved that you were right - she was having a pop at the RATINGS obsessives not rantings obessive. As for defending her, fair play to you, i hope she realises that she has a friend in you!

No you're right it IS an easy mistake to make... But here's the thing I did NOT pop off @ you. Yes, maybe I should apologise for the way I said I cannot see how people could mistake ratings for LF, when obviously people are able to mis-read the word ratings so, I apologise for that.

But you went off on me like I was absolutely tearing your head off about it, which I wasn't and yet even now still you're being somewhat sarcastic and catty in your responses. Of course, when you call him out on anything, he always acts like the victim and the innocent one; that's the sociopath in him. I think he is very dangerous. Be careful. Like I say, he is best ignored.

*Sighs* You've missed nothing. He tried being an arse to me last night because I took it upon myself to write an Email to Angela Jain (Commissioning Editor of C4) and tried getting personal assuming I had no life.

I proved him wrong three times and he didn't like it and has now made it his mission to smear me over here... I was also on CH4BBF pretty much from the beginning and if that's the kind of person I am, you would have known it, trust me.

It would be interesting to know how many people voted last night in the eviction. Davina will know. I suspect the figures are down. It is only this fall in revenue that will change their minds and it may prompt them to bring back live feed. They initially said that only 100k watched live feed anyway but 100k who stop voting, in protest, can affect the phone takings. It is our only revenge for the cut in live feed: hit them in the pocket!
