He's right, they need to do something more interesting. It's just more of the same old shit, they need a big twist or at the very least some interesting tasks... 'ripping a phonebook in two'? really?

No point in bringing in big twists, because they always fall flat.

Bring LF back and that might bring the interest back.

Totally agree!!!! Thumbs Up

I agree LL, what's the point if we can't see the twists. Either they should bring back live feed or finish it, I just can't seem to get interested to be honest, just going through the motions.

Also, what they did'nt show, she was allowed to smoke whilst doing it, after a couple of h/m's went and asked BB, no way was that a task! Shake Head

I agree with Anna Nolan. They have moved
so far away from the original idea of the show
that the most recent ones have been a travesty.
More designed to shock than to entertain and get
publicity even if its bad.

Each year we have a house full of controversial
characters (the more outlandish the better) and
the production team's efforts to sustain interest, viewing figures and sponsors finally
killed it off ~ even for the most avid fans (me!)

I want someone else to take it over and get
back to the original format. Too much to hope
for do you think? Big Grin

I thought they ended BB last year, cos you cant call this programme BB. Its like a poor fly-0n-the-wall documentary of what a reality show might be. It's certainly not OUR Big Brother Frowner And thats only going on what i read on this forum cause i wont give C4 the satisfaction of watching the drivvel THEY think we should see. I cant understand the amount of people who are still going to vote to evict when they surely cant judge anyone on a heavily biased, edited hour show. Yet this forum seems to have a fair amount who are still prepared to part with their money..... i just think its sad that C4 didn't tell us last year that that was the last series, i might have been over it by now instead of still suffering withdrawal symptoms Crying Crying Crying

I disagree with him. The true Big Brother format has as much potential as it ever had. Its the wandering away from this format that is killing it.

The fundemental concept of big brother was that it was a group of relatively normal people, people like us, in a house that the public could observe 24/7.

That isn't the programme that is currently on telly calling itself Big Brother.

They not only need to bring back the live feed, but a return to having the online options of which room to watch etc.

I think there is still shed loads of potential to make money from the Big Brother format... it just needs to be put together by people that have an inkling as to what it is all about, and that care about what its target viewing audience want!

Pretty much spot on. This year has that "final BB" feel about it. Terrible housemates. They have nothing new to say. The only twist they can possibly make now is to remove all of the current housemates and bring in a set of interesting housemates.
