Sorry! I forgot golf. That also goes in the bin.
With you on golf.
I play golf
Badly.
The majority of our family play golf but it's just not fast enough for our liking!
Hubby used to play squash and I played tennis but golf just wasn't for us.

It is a bit slow.. especially when I'm playing
Some say golf spoils a good walk
Never tried my hand at tennis - think I would enjoy it too.
Go Fed. One set away from his dream.
Come on Federer .

Think Roger has it in the bag now.

There's many a slip twixt cup and lip Miss_S - Robin seems to have got into the match more now but I do agree, Roger has stepped up the pace too.
Never been lucky enough to get seats for a Wimbledon Final and, if I had, I would feel cheated if I couldn't see a five-setter in the men's final!
One of my very good friends managed to get seats for the Women's Final about 4 years ago now and I really thought she would take me as her hubby isn't interested BUT SHE TOOK HER BOSS INSTEAD!!
Some friend eh?
Oh dear, Roger seems to be annihilating Robin now.
No way the Fed will let this one slip

Looks like there is no way back for Robin now unfortunately!
Still, as you say, it's not over til it's over.
One of my colleagues manages to get tickets for Wimbledon ever year - she hasn't been on the final day though but has managed to get seats for the semis.
I think they are issued in ballot form or something?
She says the atmosphere is electric as I can imagine but the prices for food and memorablia are ridiculous.
She did manage to take some great photos of Rafa for me last year which I was grateful for
Maybe we will get there one day Hyacinth

Yes, my friend enters the ballot every year. Some years she's lucky and some she's not.
Last time I went was about 1989 I think and I did buy a towel and a keyring.
Lucky you getting a photo of Rafa. (drools).

1989 - you didn't manage to see Stefan did you?
I'd love to go but it's a bit of a trek from up here only to find that there could be a rain delay
Although no problems now if you were in Centre Court.

Well I have to get ready to go out - need to record the end and it's nearly over!!

No, sadly, I didn't. We were on one of the outside courts.

He is indeed carotino.
I applaud Robin Soderling too - he was a worthy runner-up and I'm sure he'll go on to achieve some great titles too.
Thank you all my fellow tennis enthusiasts - hope to see you again for Wimbledon eh?
All this at 27 years old , Federer is going down as a legend now he's equalled Pete Sampras record and will definetly pass that. Nadal however is going to be one for the future .
Not watching Hyacinth but thought I would show my support
A marvelous match with two dignified players.
