It's just a question, don't jump on me OK, I realise there's practise sessions as well, but it can't be that physically draining, not like having a real job is it FFS!. Makes me laff when you hear about actors and TV Celebs and pro footballers talking about suffering from exhaustion, try getting a real job, you always hear about actors and presenters talking about hanging around on set, wow I wish I could do that, I'd be out on my ear!

Though to be fair I think the exhaustion is related to being hunted by the world's media, phone ringing at all times of days and night, being temporarily one of the most famous people on earth without having the staff, PA people to deal with it that wealthy celebs have, being roundly criticised and suffering backlash from people criticising her looks/hair/clothes, and general full on onslaught. I don't think it was 'singing 3 songs' that caused the exhaustion.

I agree with you but I thought BGT gave her some people to help her with all that? so she was left on her own then? wow.... Frowner

I think she was mostly on her own. After the first show when the press went to Blackburn she seemed to be on her own in her house and had said the phone hadn't stopped ringing and I think she had to change her number. Maybe she got some support latterly but either way it wasn't as much as she needed. I feel dead sorry for her, I really do, nothing to do with winning/not winning, as I don't give a stuff about that but just the situation she has been cast into without proper managers/advice which she surely needs.

I feel sorry for her.

In just seven short weeks the press have both lauded her and then denegrated her.

We none of us know what goes on behind the scenes with all the rehearsing they have to do. Out of all the contestants, she is the one the media have concentrated on the most and it has been too much for her to cope with. It must have been like living inside a pressure cooker for the poor woman both physically and mentally.

She never expected all this media attention when she signed up for the show.

Time to give her a break now eh?

Did the show know of her condition before she signed on? Maybe the show didnt know the hype was going to be too much but either way they should have given her adequate support... poor woman I hope she recovers from this but Im sure part of there reason she is suffering is because she lost when everyone was telling her she was a definite winner...

Yes definitely its time to give her a break but I doubt they would do that there is still money to be made from her... I hope they atleast give her some sort of help in the process...

Well said Hyacinth! Thumbs Up

Even for a person without learning difficulties the pressure would have been great. The Sun has practically stalked the poor woman over the past few weeks and given her a very hard time. Shame on them! Mad
