as you know, I have quite liked livecloud from the start... but I also had gaga open on a different tab... so would be dipping into both. Even though the novelty of livecloud had me & Ducky running around in a frenzy of excitment we did, quietly, also mourn the loss of this forum format!

I have been using livecloud since we were first told of it... a few weeks now. And whilst I enjoyed it... I did find it difficult to navigate... sometimes wondering where everyone was, and then stumbling across half me mates in a far off corner somewhere....

Through trial and error the following things have suddenly made it 'click' for me.... I am now really comfortable navigating it, and I find it busy, and exciting, and have been coming here less and less....

1. Notifications.... recommend you all tick the box to say you are on vacation (suspending all email notifications)... BUT also recommend you change as many of the boxes above this option from email to alert. This will then mean these are tracked on your TIcker.

2. Navigate from your TIcker.... it will alert you to anything new from your buddies, or in any blog or topic you have posted in.

3. EXPLORE - the explore button is your friend.... be it blogs, people or groups.

All of that is if you want to play outside of the general forum that is being teleported later.

Once the PROPER forums are there they might have quite a different feel to the rest of the place because they will be FORUMS, while the rest of the place IS NOT - so why not give the REALITY a go instead of throwing it all away based on an ASSUMPTION?
