Just going on from Patrick Swayzes news this mornning, I realised that I've actually never seen the film that made him a big star, probably coz it sounds too much like a girly flick. I loved Ghost even went to the pictures to watch it, but one of my fave films of his is Roadhouse, where he's a bouncer, you should see it.

Wasn't it salvaged from the waste bin or something and nearly never realised? I'm sure some one will correct me. 
Dirty Dancing was/is a great film. I have seen it about a dozen times 
Roadhouse is a good film too and if anyone has not seen his tv series Beast - try to catch it.

I haven't seen it either. I love most of Patrick Swayze films but this one just didn't appeal to me for some reason? I'll take LL's recommendation though and watch it.

Neither have I,not my kind of film.
If you haven't seen it, the plot is basically that some underage girl goes off and has sex with the equivalent of a Butlins redcoat, and that's supposed to be romantic somehow...

Even Dirty Dancing (in which he wore the same tight black trousers from beginning to end) was more believable. Loved it

Have it on DVD, but I do prefer Ghost, went to the pictures to see it and have it on DVD and watched it when it was on TV.

I only saw Ghost on sunday, and wondered how patrick was doing. Sadly now l know.

The characters they portray on screen may be very different to how they behave in RL.
