Not a real surprise...in the last few years he'd looked like a man on borrowed time....
.. according to the ghost writer of his book
Was only watching that programme with him and Keith allen last night and thinking he looked rough
Blimey..also died yesterday Darren Sutherland, Irish boxer who won a bronze medal at the last Olmypics...age 27!
Found dead at his flat in Bromley by Frank Maloney his manager.

I watched too! I really liked Keith Floyd he really was one of a kind!He did look much older than 65 though! Gone but not forgotten!
I've met Floyd at his old pub.We did a quiz night there. He certainly was a character!
Was only watching him on the food channel Saturday morning - he did look older than 65 - RIP.
I watched the programme only last night and felt very sorry for him having to face losing his place in France. I suppose at least he has been spared that. His ex wife can get her hands on it now without having a court throw him out of his own home. I wonder if she will enjoy it.
I ate at a pub he owned and ran in Devon many years ago.
He propped up the bar all evening.
Thought his prices were steep though - tasted just as good elsewhere for much less.

Apparently he had been diagnosed with bowel cancer in June of this year.
