I'm pretty sure I'll be ok at 5'5 but he's not looking forward to the 8 hour flight... Never been on a Virgin plane before so am not sure how much room there is normally??

Does your BF require an additional 3" ? Wink

Usually front row, or beside an emergency exit is best for tall people. Try to get as much leg room as you can for him - never flown virgin, but most people I know either ask for an aisle seat or front/emergency exit seat, so they can stick their legs out.

What?
Out the emergency exit?
During the flight?

Oh ok thanks Fabienne - suppose that means i have to pay for me to sit there aswell.. be a bit mean having him sit on his own haha

Actually, 3 inches on a plane could make all the difference. We flew Alitalia once, which must have the largest legroom of all. 3 inches was noticeable.
