... I can't leave the house without one - do you wear a watch on a daily basis? My hubby and daughter don't care, whereas, my eldest loves watches like me and my youngest son loves his 'heart/monitor etc' watch we bought him for his birthday.
Leaving a watch behind is like forgetting my purse or handbag!

I like 'Storm' watches - chunky, black watches. Hubby did buy me a Rado for Christmas (as it was Blakish-ish).

I wish my hubby was like you - it would be so easy to buy a gift, he likes the 'mechanics' of watches and wears one occasionally but he has a 9"/9 and a half inch wrist Eeker - despite being 5' 10 I have a 6-6,5 inch wrist - my thinest part!

My husband had an absolute fixation with watches, everywhere we went on holiday he`d buy at least one or two and we`d go out somewhere and he`d always head for the jewellers to look at them Eeker
I`ve still got a large box with them all in and for the last 3 years I`ve been checking them all to keep them going, I feel like he`s watching me from somewhere and he`ll go mad if I let them stop Big Grin

I have an old Accurist watch that I've worn for several years ......................I hate going out without it and if I happen to I find myself constantly gazing at my bare left wrist.

This begs the question ...........do you wear your watch on your left or right wrist. I think it's considered correct to wear it on the left (I do) I always find it really odd when people wear it on the right. More and more people do nowadays 9not just left handers).

When I wear one (not at the moment because I've got my watch pendant on) I always wear it on my right wrist. I have two watches - a Storm one with silver circular links, and a Fossil one with steel and wood square links.

I'm left handed and wearing a watch on my left wrist just feels wrong. But the trouble is, the winder is then on the wrong side - facing my arm instead of my hand.

It's possible to get deluxe watches like Rolex with the winder left-handed. If I ever win the lotto, I'll have one. Nod

I hate not knowing the time. Everything I do is defined by time. It would absolutely kill me to go out somewhere and not know what time it is Laugh

I haven't worn a watch for years. I hate things around my wrists (or neck for that matter) and so it has to be absolutely comfortable or I'd just take it off and leave it somewhere. When my last one broke I couldn't find one I gelled with, one that felt right on my wrist, so I stopped wearing one.

I only wear jewellery when I'm dressed up and going out as well, things like that irritate me and I end up unconsciously fiddling with them all day or taking them off and wondering later where I put them.
