Heat I am fabby ta. I've got a friend who has booked onto the Alan Carr course next week - I've told her all about you and how you think his method works
You're still off the fags, aren't you?
Hi Rexi
I'll refrain from calling them fags
I've not had a ciggy for about seven months and have gone from smoking 40 a day for 35 years, always failing to stop on previous occasions for more than a few hours, to not even wanting to entertain the thought that they actually exist let alone want one or miss them !!!
I have got 2 x Allen Carr audio cd's to thank for this incredible turnaround and the amusing thing about the whole process is that he doesn't actively encourage you to stop ~ you make that decision for yourself.
He even allows you ciggie breaks at his walk in clinics as well.
Those cd's had been lying round the place for years and one Sunday I really couldn't be bothered to go out and buy a pack of cigs so I listened to the discs instead
I listened to them about five times in total during the first month and found them to be a great source of encouragement but at no point after listening the first time did I think I'd ever smoke again.
As long as you fully understand what it is he is saying to you then tobacco will be history.
He doesn't use 'shock and awe' tactics either, it's all very well reasoned and structured conversation and observation.
I dreamt I smoked a ciggy the other night (which I never did while I smoked!)and I thoroughly enjoyed it but was so pleased when I woke up and realised it had been a dream and nothing more.
I can't thank Allen Carr (RIP) enough for guiding me on what has surely been a life saving journey.
Good luck to your friend Rexi & let me know how they get on.
I'll refrain from calling them fags

Hi Muf
Good luck with giving up and you'll soon be looking back at it as a drug addiction rather than a habit
