if he was to kick someone in the street, and i clouted him one...he would run off screaming "mummy's gunna hurt me/kill me" whatever...and he would get more and more wound up, and more scared and anxious and more likely to hit out....i fell out with my dad recently cos he was staying round his for the night. my dad went to hit him (for him wanting to play with bubble wrap when my dad didn't want him to...) and my son took HOURS to calm down when we got there...he was hiding under a bed terrifed and crying hysterically...all my dad could ay was he was bieng a little shit and how he ruined the day etc etc.
needless to say he doesn't go round there often at all, and certainly doesn't stay anymore
was him who beat me a few times when little, i should have realised he'd try and do same to my kids too
