Not quite sure that gold won't lose it's value, but certainly it's not a good time to sell silver. I saw a recent programme saying it was a bad time for silver antiques as the value of silver is low.

Interestingly one of the adverts for these types of business who buy your jewelry said that it's never been a better time to sell your silver - Not for them it ain't !!!

I should have mentioned that I sold mine nearly three years ago when gold value was considerably less than today.
