Big Brother threw a lavish farewell dinner for the housemates last night and they all dressed to impress. After the first two courses they took turns to make toasts. Rodrigo was tickled pink when he finished his toast and David told him his English was "beautiful".
After the meal the housemates got another treat - music! They hugged and cried as 'Man In The Mirror' by Michael Jackson was played into the House (thank you Federico for telling the housemates about the King of Pop's death a few weeks ago...). They also heard 'All These Things That I've Done' by The Killers and 'Bleeding Love' by Leona Lewis - Charlie had a good cry during the latter.
In an emotional mood, David and Charlie headed to the bus stop. Charlie told David that he cannot thank the public enough for keeping him in.
The housemates then headed to the Diary Room as a group and thanked Big Brother for a wonderful summer. They were hoping to swap a token for alcohol, but Big Brother took a sensible view and told them, "You have a big day tomorrow. It's important you feel fresh." Quite right too.
Unsurprisingly, David was very very excited about meeting Davina, and had a good scream about it in the Garden. Meanwhile Rodrigo was more worried about his hair (which he once described as looking like "cauliflower cheese") and Siavash told him that if he mentions it again, they're shaving his head.
Charlie was called to the Diary Room at 22:53. He told Big Brother that he felt emotional about going home and seeing his mum, and joked that he'll have no more than three fans - all of whom he plans to take out clubbing.
Next to the Diary Room was David, who was screaming with joy. "I'm so excited I can't sleep Big Brother!" he shrieked, before revealing that the experience of being in the House has given him more confidence, and made him less self-conscious about being camp.
At 23:02 Rodrigo headed to the Diary Room and thanked Big Brother for giving him the opportunity to show his love for the UK. Next was Sophie, who said that the BB experience has taught her to stand on her own two feet. "I appreciate that my Mum did everything for me," she said. "Now I can live alone."
But the most emotional visit to the Diary Room was from Siavash. He told Big Brother that he had realised he wasn't as strong as he thought, and he then began to cry. And, heading back to the House he continued to cry while snacking on a Pot Noodle. Aw.
Then, as many other nights, Charlie disturbed the other housemates in the early hours by singing and screaming in the Bedroom while they tried to get their beauty sleep. The others told him off but the naughty boy didn't go to bed at and instead hid by the Kitchen door while Rodrigo made a bedtime snack, then jumped out and scared the living daylights out of him.
It's the final day of Big Brother 10. Housemates, it's going to be a big one...
