Initially I thought the forum as it was would just migrate over to the headintheclouds Live cloud place, but it seems I am wrong

It iss migrating as it is, not closing. All the existing threads will be there.... nothing will be lost. It will just look a little different. You won't even have to change your bookmark.

Yes this forum is closing, but it will reincarnate as a group or a site (unsure which) within livecloud.
I've had a look over at livecloud, and I've had a few goes at posting. It is quite nice but there are a few things which the developers should really consider adding, just to make the masses happy.
Specifically, they should add a proper quoting system, as used on all other forum systems. I can't believe they don't consider a decent quoting system as a "must have".
The other thing which would be sooo easy for them to add, is letting people know who the OP is. Again, something that all forum systems do.
I've made a recommendation in the feature request section to have them include the OP's name in the forum index page, but sadly my reply was not welcomed with any enthusiasm, which is a shame, because the forum is like 99% perfect, and if they just add these couple of basic features it would be great!

"Post New Topic" is towards the top right of the first page of the Forum. (But you have to be signed in for it to appear.)

Lots of people have posted new threads in the help forum and some of the groups.

Yeah I know 15...... but that's because whats over there is not supposed to be a forum. It's set up as individual groups/blogs and personal pages. (which are amazing once you get the hang of them
) Once THIS forum goes over it will seem much more normal, I promise.
