Charlie was disgusted with his allocation as stylist in the Beyonce task. Rodrigo was amused mightily at Charlie's disgust, and laughed in Charlie's face with a vigour and volume which any normal being would find offensive. I think Charlie's attitude was completely unjustified and a result of his belief that he had some divine right to play the leading role in the task, but nonetheless what Rodrigo did was totally unacceptable.

I have noted in the past that men and women interpret these situations differently. A similar situation occurred in BB5 when Marco jumped up and down in Jason's face and the women commenting on the situation didn't interpret Marco's behaviour as particularly offensive, whereas I and most of the men commenting on the incident felt the action should meet with a serious physical response.

Similarly with Rodrigo's behaviour. If a bloke laughs at you in the way Rodrigo laughed at Charlie the behaviour is insulting and provocative in the extreme. He has behaved in the same to Bea when she was upset over the lack of a message from her mother.

I would have gone over to Rodrigo and bopped him and then asked him if he could see the funny side.

Oh I don't doubt that Charlie would have been as revolting as Rodrigo, but that doesn't justify Rodrigo's behaviour.

and to Contessa

I appreciate you aren't allowed to bop people in the house but I think Rodrigo's provocation would have been more than any self-respecting male could handle.

Well he thought it was hilarious to bang a gong near someone's head when they were trying to sleep. He's lucky he didn't get the tin tray smashed into his face for that. Seems Charlie is the only one allowed to find things funny. The stupid seal type clapping he does when he's 'having fun' shows what a complete and utter twat he really is! He's lucky he hasn't been twatted long before now, but he'll be out soon Nod Only jokin' Glance

Clapping fantastic post Thumbs Up

I agree it was over the top laughing by rodders - i mean he laughs so hard I half expect him to rupture his innards and a lung to fly out of his mouth.

That having been said, I think Rodders is more socially inept than being nasty. Chalries reaction was amusing and I do think Rodders found it really funny..he kept saying to charlie he was just laughing at the situation, rather than at charlie..but yes it was provocative.

Some articles have called Charlie 'the prankster', Ive never seen him do one funny thing in there, maybe bouncing the hopper off Lisa's head would justify funny.

He of all hm's should not get annoyed with anyone laughing at him, when he was quite openly laughing at David and Lisa, saying there only storyline would be smoking and tea.

Hell knows why he was not evicted on Tuesday.

They`ve both got a spiteful streak imo, and it looked to as though Rodrigo was trying to provoke an argument, the way he was carrying on...

There isn't that much to choose between Rodrigo and Charlie in the disliking stakes. They are both a pair of hissy-fit queens, who are trying to outdo each other for camera time.

It seems to be a scoring points exercise, and I wonder if this is a gay thing. Why do they argue like a pair of alleycats during the day and then hop into bed at night together, as if nothing happened?

Charlie and his performing seal antics have worn thin and he is desperate to pull something else out of the bag before the final. Trouble is, there is nothing left. Rodrigo now only has the Charlie rows to give him his credibility. And of course that maniacal laughter, which cannot be considered acceptable by any standards. But the trouble is, like Charlie, there is nothing left.

If Rodrigo laughed at me like he does with his other HMs, I would turn the tables on him at each and every opportunity, and adopt a similar laugh to his, an in-your-face laugh, a listen-to-me laugh, an unforgettable laugh, a much louder laugh than his, a laugh that he would remember when he started to laugh, and then he would stop. You have to play like with like sometimes to achieve your goal, and it need not involve any physical violence.
Twee Surgeon
Rodrigo is now the only one that I like in the house, (and I enjoy his laugh.)
But Twee's post has made me think (which invariably happens.)
Twee mentioned "points scoring", and my mind moved on to consider one-up-manship, and attention-seeking.
Perhaps with so few people left it is highlighted even more, but it strikes me how hard they try to sell themselves to viewers.
I feel they are all over-compensating.
It is clear when one studies each one of them, how they oversompensate and over-compete.
Perhaps Siavash and David are the most obvious over-compensators, but it seems they are all doing it.
A bit of a shame really.

Hey Flossie great post.

The thing that irks me about Rodrigo is that if anyone had laughed at him in the same way, he would have bust a blood vessel in anger. He hates being told to shut up, but thinks nothing of telling others to "shert urp"

Also his hissy fit at not being able to use the straighteners was ridiculous.I find him at times, so annoying.
