I have missed the forum since Big Brother started. I much prefer it when BB is not on, which I suppose is an idiotic way - for an FM on a Big Brother forum - to feel!

Can anybody answer this question about the Live Cloud forums please? When I look at the threads, it doesn't say who started the thread. Is this normal, or am I just missing something?

Yes you're right. In my view there is still a lot of work to be done to put it right. They have ironed out some niggles but I wish they would engage us in more dialogue on here so that matters could be addressed. The deadline for change draws on and we are going to go over with some severe drawbacks still in place.

Had a look and...mmm.. not really liking the layout much tbh. I prefer a basic wysiwyg style myself.

THIS forum will be the BB forum over at Live Cloud and it will still be called the GaGaJoyJoy forums - as far as I understand.
And all the threads and posts that we see on it now will still be on it when it is embedded in the cloudy place. So you'll hardly notice the difference.

Hover over Explore on the black bar and click communities
Click GaGaJoyJoy from the list

Go to top of page, roll mouse over 'Explore', then go down to 'Groups'and click and it'll take you a list of the groups. Go down to 'Forum' and click. You'll see a list along the top saying 'wall' 'blog' clips' click on 'Forum'.

You are now in The Forums forum lol

From the home page:-

Hover your cursor over EXPLORE on the black bar,
click Groups from the drop down menu, then scroll down to Forum and click forum from the list of words that goes accross the page. you should now see a list of thread titles.

Sorry I was logged off. Your best bet is the 'My Ticker' section on your black bar at the top. The forum bit we are using is in the part of Live Cloud which has the forum and then forum is in that bit. So its forum forum. One thing though you do have to Join The Group if you want to post in there.

Perones....here it is...when you've clicked on Groups, it's about 32 down the page

I'm a bit confused, because I've got a link to a forum, where I see posts from familiar names, but then I've got a link to some community support group, which has posts in a different section, and they don't seem to be linked.

The Gaga forum has not been moved over yet.
The Forum you are viewing at Livecloud is a group. It belongs to a Groupee member called Topic. It is his group which a lot of us have joined just to post for now. We will have our own bit when we move. The other section you are seeing is LiveClouds support forum where we post feedback, suggestions and generally test.
James a Groupee VIP has set up another group,THE SINKING SHIP join it and you will be able to go to James pub, he did this for us so we can post & have a laugh until Gaga moves over. Look on the black bar & scroll down to groups, join as many as you think you will be interested in, but remember the forums are not up & running yet.

Don't be confused. They ARE different sections. Think of Live cloud as a mansion with LOTS of rooms. One room has the support forum and another has a group called Forums in it.
Some of the familiar names have posted in both places and some unfamiliar names have posted in the support forum too.

Its not just that though Fluffy It acts weird, its so clunky to find the last post and although we have been mentioning a last post button for days, is anybody listening? I posted over there just now and it didn't offer me any smilies

As I've said before, I'm not really fussed and will probably close down my profile and stick to the forum once it's there.

It seems to be on a go slow and some of the time the reply box is remaining blue. When it's blue uyou can only do smileys if you type in the code. The 'toggle wysiwyg' button usually changes it between modes but the go-slow is preventing it from happening.

I wouldn't worry too much C.O

This time next week, it'll all be over and done with anyway.
