I'm not impressed. Just had a new kitchen fitted (ok there's tiling/door adjustments to do etc) but it's functional and I've never had a T/D before - my son has and I have heard from various people before - that they're 'not all they're cracked up to be' to be - I must admit, I agree! Despite 'Bounce' etc they don't have that 'Lenor' or 'softner' smell.

I shook the clothes as they came out of the dryer and entered a relevant time?

I wouldn't be without mine!

I don't use it in the summer (except if we have long rainy periods), but it's a boon in the winter.

I would say though, that I once had one and the results were very disappointing. Everything came out stiff as a board! I sent it back and got a different make.

I'm not a fan and will be drying outside as I always have and brought up three kids - but I thought they'd be more impressive and looked forward to a 'one-off' chance of drying clothes during our 'summer' :ninja.
I have had a dishwasher for years and was hoping to compensate the time - however, I'd rather use the DW!

i prefer tumble dried clothes to ait dried ones. air dried ones just feel scratchy to me, no matter what i use

Use mine all the time, dont like to hang washing outside I dont like the outdoor smell.

I only use mine if I need something like now!

I dry outside or on clothes horses in the front room with the door closed so no one can see my undies

i dont now, i used to. i use bold 2 in 1 infusions washing tablets gel thingys atm and my clothes still smell nice when they've been in the tumble dryer.

it's when they are on the line i find them scratchy, always have whatever i use.

maybe they dont hang right

A nurse told me that you shouldn't use fabric conditioner for towels and re-usable continence sheets (so presumably nappies) as the conditioner coats the items and stops them being absorbent.

Yeah, you're not s'posed to use conditioner on towels.....I do though cos I'm a rebel.

Couldn't be without mine. It's really handy when you need something in a hurry. My OH uses it in the morning to heat up and iron his clothes before going to work

uses loads of electric though

Thats what I hate about tumble driers, you can use a really lovely fabric conditioner, but they dont smell the same as off the line. Think the heat kills the fragrance

My son moved back home last week

he arrived with 6 black bags of dirty washing. Turns out he doesnt wash boxers and socks just buys new every week

My tumble drier was going non stop for 2 days!!

He will be getting the leccie bill when it arrives
