It would have been pointless and cruel imo.

Lisa obviously has some degree of learning difficulty. That is probably why she and David get on fine. Neither of them feel pressured by each other.

I think Lisa was completely out of her depth in the interview and I think the questions were fired at her far too quickly for her brain to take in and understand, never mind try and form an answer to any of them.

Her agressiveness probably stems from her lack of intelligence and articulation. I got the distinct impresson also thnoughout her stay in the house and again in the interview that she isn't hearing well either.

I'm no fan of Lisa, far from it, but she can't help being the way she is. If she had been given a strong and searching interview it would have been a complete waste of time and would have only made her defensive and agressive. No-one would have benefitted from that.

Instead of a psychologist ,they decided she should be grilled by a cleaning lady, someone of her own class! How bloody patronising.BB I love your incite and compassion, something I aspire to in real life, but this is Big Brother Big Grin ...they should have had some clips and a discussion about Lisa's behaviour towards Halfwit and exposed her lies about never talking behind peoples backs or trying to influence anyone. Her agressive behaviour and intimidation seem to have won by not being challenged properly.

I understand what you are saying Amythist but it just wouldn't have worked. Lisa was in no state of mind to be able to deal with any of that just after leaving the house. It would take her ages to understand what they would have been asking her and again ages to reply. And even then I really don't think she would have understood any of it enough to be able to respond in a thought out and articulate manner.

Hopefully once the stress of last night has left her and things return to something of a normality, then she will be able to answer some of the pertinent questions everyone wants answers to.

Maybe it's because she has some compassion? Or maybe it's because she sticks to a script? Either way, all the HMs, love them or loathe them, have endured all those weeks in the house for our entertainment and don't tell me many viewers wern't entertained by Lisa's attitidue - love to hate?, and she perhaps feels they don't deserve to be treated too harshly when they are evicted?

Some truth there, we need the villains, to boo at in programmes like this.

She had one of the cushiest interviews this year (Kris also had a cushy one). There was a lack of analysis of Lisa's gameplan and her actions towards other housemates. BBBM was no better with Davina constantly stopping negative comments.

Did anyone else get the impression that they were worried as to how Lisa would react once she was in the studio?
Davina seemed to be very cautious and when things were getting a bit heated and Lisa was getting agitated, she switched tack completely and started on the 'oh wasn't the London task just wonderful'!

Omitting the harrassment of Freddie was just laughable.

They should also have shown a VT of how many times Lisa stated that she could 'take them all down if I wanted to'.....and ask her WHY she never actually delivered on these boasts.

I think Davina is generally too soft on her favourite HMs, and I hate it. However, I do think there was something else going on as Davina seemed rather flustered. I don't think she expected Lisa to be quite so, well, slow. She is normally so quick to speak up for herself in the house, she seemed very different after her eviction.

I'm not surprised Freddie was ignored. I think BB are trying to erase his existenece, I mean, Davina didn't really mention him to Marcus either, and they were pretty good chums.

My (conspiracy) theory is that if they show the VT of the 'attacks' on Freddie, they would also be showing Sophie, Roddy and Charlie as part of Lisa's 'pack', something they want to avoid perhaps. It would also remind Freddie fans of his friendship with Siavash and re-ignite support for him, something else I feel BB want to avoid.

I was surprised they didn't talk to Lisa about Karly either, she was her best buddie b4 she left!

I felt that Lisa perhaps took offence to Kim Woodburn's comments about her....she was fixing her with quite a stare, and then she seemed to withdraw a bit, asking for water etc.

Good point about ignoring Freddie's existence, I hadn't thought about the effects on the other remaining housemates.
Katerina
it looked to me as if the tone of the interview was scripted to have a pop at lisa, once kim gave her some stick and lisa's reaction to it,there seemed to be general confusion and i don't think kim said anything else in the whole interview,as if the direction of the interview had changed and no one had a script, lol.
i reckon davina was getting instructions not to let the interview push lisa over the edge.

I agree. Thats why she has a big, big chip on her shoulder. Shes obviously angry at the world for her lack of opportunities. Or maybe she isnt very intelligent in the first place.

Dont the producers take any responsilbity. The message they are sending to the likes of the Lisas of this world is That bullying is never challnegd and its Ok to "be yourself".
A quotation from Lisa that is getting me so mad. Is that supposed to be an excuse for bad behaviour now. Disappointed
I can just imagine some yob in the dock being accused of assault etc saying "Well yur onner I was just being me self" Shake Head
