I have been with Virgin mobile for years now and my present contract ends in October. I am wanting to go with another company because the Virgin service is crap on trains. Can anybody recommend what I should go for.

ps I know that the reception on trains isn't the best but I see lots of people using their phones and I can't even get a message through on mine.

I'm on basic pay as you go...with Virgin.My Samsung is with them,however most folk on my networks are now with contract "Orange".However |i just use the moby to
keep in touch with my niece and a few others.

I may get mine unlocked to go with Orange but I really don't like "Bloke at the market" farkin about with my moby...so I'm cool with what i have.

I'm on O2 too, brilliant service, treats, offers, they were terrific when my last phone broke 5 days before end of contract and advised me to go onto their Simplicity package til I needed another handset.

I was on o2 for years and they were great, but about 7 months ago the reception became really bad - can't finish a call or send messages. Have now joined T-Mobile and they've been great so far (good reception all the time it seems!).

I would recommend O2. 2 of my children are on PAYG, and the third, and myself, are on contract.

Check out their O2 shop online for contract deals - there's usually extra minutes/texts for the same price if you order online.

I've hardly ever been without a signal in the UK.

I love orange too. Never had any troubel with them. Don't know about on trains. But I could use my whole bundle for exeverything, none of this 20 euro a month, not including sms, or calling to or from a foreign country, everything comes out of one bundle, and if I've money over, it carries over to the next month, infinitely. Well, as infinite as the contract and company last. There is no Orange in the Netherlands (ironically enough) anymore. So, I've been switched to T-mobile, with the same conditions, but don't know what will happen when my contract ends.

scatter, when my daughter was with T-Mobile, sometimes it took a day for a text to reach her, and calling her? never available.

I'm in a city, but the reception was rubbish. Glad your experience of TM is better!

02. I'm on 02 PAYG and it's great,never had any problems, was on one to one, then it became T Mobile and I think it went rubbish, was PAYG on there, went to contract hoping it would be better and it got worse.

Changed to 02 and have no problems at all. Totally recommend them.
