Just because Lisa is an a-hole doesn't mean it wasn't rude.

Agree with you as far as we (us English) are concerned Shar, but he won`t have learnt all the nuances of our language - well he probably has now Blush

I ALREADY can't stand anything about the
DISHONEST Devious Desperate cheating dullard mumbling spitting ~
SLY LYING smug SELF SERVING ARROGANT Siavash

but I did not mind Rodrigo and Sophie too much
~and would not have minded them in the final 3

but after last night's HL REVEAL Show~
I HAVE GONE RIGHT OFF SOPHIE + RODRIGO

Charlie~ for ages ~ has shown he is a nasty aggressive spiteful mess ~and has really thrashed his mam story to shreds ~ confidently ~in order to win

MARCUS~IS THE REAL WINNER of BB
he was HONEST and witty

Marcus ~Freddie and Angel were unique likeable and
ARE~and always will be ~ THE TOP THREE

The rest have been mostly a waste of airtime and mindnumbingly forgetable

I watched The E4 repeat this afternoon. He did not mean to insult Lisa. She was seething about being nommed and he was in range, talking to David. Lisa used the "her" as an excuse to lash out at him.
After David and Lisa both had a go at him about it being rude to refer to a third party as "her" (I don't think it is) Rodrigo retreated to ask Sophie and co whether he should have said "her" or "him". He thought he must have made a grammatical mistake

I have used her and him as much as I can in here. Don't mean to be rude though

I don't think he meant it like that. Lisa told him she was not a "her". He had learnt that a woamn is a her and a man was a him. She said she wasn't a her so he thought he had it wrong.

I would like Lisa to try and learn another language and do as well as Rodrigo does. She could start with English!
Cant agree with you on this Shake Head I think he was quite aware of what he was saying. "Her" is rude. I cant make up my mind whether or not the rest of the comment was meant to be taken as it came across , but I am sure he was aware it was a rude thing to say. He's not been in this country for just 5 minutes, his English language has been second to none up till now. Just find it convenient that he was suddenly so unsure of what he said. He was definitely being rude one way or another, the scowl on his face during that whole thing and his tone spoke volumes. I know Lisa is far from perfect, but as someone who was a Rodrigo fan up until that moment, it shocked me. Shake Head

I have been living here for 10 years and don't understand the whole idea of her/she being perceived as rude, and I'm from America where we speak English!

when i said "her" in reference to my mum (when she was about) she used to shout at me "whose her???? the cat's mother Mad ???"
it perceived as rude as when someone is in your presence you are meant to use their name.

i still fail at that Ninja

That's the way I understood it as well Nod Lisa was just furious after seeing the noms and looking to have a go at anyone that nominated her!
