Snape wig.
Actually I have just thought of someone else who could play him.
He's the one second from left in the green coat. **bounces up and down**
Aidan Turner
Scotty - my mum just phoned and told me to put on sky 993

Let me know if it's any good please and I'll watch it on catch up.
I'm not very keen on ITV dramatisations of books tbh although they did do a cracking Nicholas Nickleby some years back

I loved the version with Timothy Dalton as Heathcliff.
Wasn't that Jayne Eyre where he played Mr Rochester?
Now there's a brooding hero I could go for. **salivates** Heathcliffe was a bit of a plank in my view. I did take to the BBC series with Toby Stephens as Mr Rochester. **jiggles**

I have taped it fabienne. It sounds like you enjoyed it and it may be worth watching. Have they stuck to the story as Emily Bronte wrote it?
I loved it
I thought they had missed the all important portrayal of the characters but by the end I think it was clear to see

I think so, so far. I'm not crazy about the main actors, but it's pretty good, I reckon.
Swooning. Tom Hardy as Heathcliff, strip him naked, stick him in between 2 bit's of bread and deliver him to my room.

It seems to be a good adaptation ... I enjoyed it tonight ...

Wuthering Heights, the novel, is all about atmosphere. I hope they have captured that eerie ghostly feeling in this version. The moors bits have to be done right or it will fall flat. I've never heard of either actor in the Cathy/Heathcliff roles but I will watch it and see. Thanks fab xx
this is heathcliffe
i love him

Shar did you see Tom Hardy in Martina Coles "The Take" on Sky 1. He is such a fabulous actor, I could eat him. Drools
Can't get that jamie...
Actually I'm watching Justin Lee Collins in speedos at the moment. He's doing high diving.
His son Archie is just about the cutest thing ever.

He did play Bronson Cariad, I've not seen it yet though. I like Martina Cole because all her books are based around my Manor

Bugger me...you live in a Manor? I only have a 3 bed detached.
I'm not keen on his lips....dunno why. Just seen a pic of him in Bronson and everything else seems very OK.

Where's Pip* & Blizzie when I need em?
that was brilliant last night-im not usually keen on that costume drama stuff but i really got into the programme!
it was proper 'throw yer slippers at the telly' when cathys nasty bro was on it
i shut my eyes at the soppy scenes (im too young and innocent for that sort of thing!) but the rest was great

So far,so good! I liked it (apart from Heathcliff's dodgy wig).

I found it a bit disconcerting when they started it at the part they did, but I loved this production and everything was made clear.
I thought the guy who plays Heathcliff was brilliant and I love Burn Gorman as Hindley - he was superb.
The only thing I would criticise is that Isabella, Linton and young Catherine are all supposed to be blonde - in fact it's made a big thing of that young Catherine has the Linton hair and the only bit of her that is like her mother is her eyes in the book. But I suppose it's just a minor quibble

It threw me a bit to start with, Pengy. I was waiting for Mr Lockwood to turn up!

he still hasn't surfaced has he? Maybe poor Mr Lockwood has been written out
Yes, Lockwood isn't in this adaptation. Well, to be honest, he was only a device to further the narrative in the book, so we can do without him on the telly.!
It's on at 9 tonight!
