Charlie was totally lying when he said he was gutted at Marcus being evicted. You could tell by his eyes.

I think Charlie says that he is gutted to make the remaining housemate feel bad, and he has done this all along. It's a way of putting down the one who stays, and nothing to do with feeling bad about someone going.

I agree he has nominated Marcus a lot, but I think he has just stuck with the programme Marcus has set. For weeks Marcus has said he wanted to go, he could have thought he wasn't going to go, because he was saved over Freddie.
