I feel sorry for her and I hope she makes a full recovery
I don't think he has a mom
I'd imagine him to have a mum or even a mam

according to our local paper she had a stroke and they`ve kept her in a coma for her brain to repair itself.quote:Originally posted by Senora Reyes:

I hope his mum recovers completely. I still say, if my mother was ill in anyway there is not a hells change of me being locked up were i could not see and hear how she's doing.

Why would he need this money to care for his mum? Has the NHS in his neck of the wood gone bust?

What difference does it make how you spell it?

And there goes his motive.
Sad as it is,it's got bugger all to do with them in the house! Charlie is a twat of the highest order!
Did the other Geordie lad Liam not have a sick parent? Is that not why Carole (BB8) gave him the money?
Well I thought that LOL. But didn't wanna make a fuss.quote:Originally posted by cologne1:quote:Originally posted by DanceSettee:

There is no right or wrong really IMO; just different ways of saying it and spelling it. Some of my family are American and we say 'mom.' I know most say mum, but I say mom...

his mum died, yeah but liam was a really nice guy, never went on in anyway like charlie
Thanks Wonder. I don;t like Charlie!
His Mum is no longer in a coma. She`s in a nursing home and recovering.
As sad as it is he does not "deserve" to win the money because of that. I wish he would stop going on about it. It`s desperate.

If thats the case, the NHS and SWD will only pay for her very basic care. Anything else will have to be paid for by her family.

Oh ,that's sad. However I still say that outside info like that should not sway public opinion etc.
We got it again on X-factor tonight the bloke singing in honour of his dead brother and bringing on his nephew on stage..hmmn.Not keen to see that on basically a talent show.

I don`t know the details of these things but it should have nothing to do with him deserving to win Big Brother.
It`s a popularity contest not a charity.

That is not right.
I worked in a nursing home for many years and all out residents were treated the same.
Some sold their houses to pay for their nursing care, others were paid for by relatives, and others were funded by social services/and DSS
Every single one received the same level of care.

If he needs money to help his mum recover he will make it from rag/mag deals, as most of them will. He doesn't need to win BB to help her financially

I am correct. I am not talking about basic care. Extras are not paid for by NHS and or SWD. Charlie was talking about extras too. He mentioned speech therapy for instance. Residents in nursing homes get very little therapy time by qualified therapists such as speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists etc. It's far too little. If the resident wants/needs more it has to be paid for by the resident or their family.
so.... money BUYS BACK YOUR HEALTH does it????
Didnt buy it for our recently departed Jade Goody/Natasha Richardson/Ted Kennedy/Pauline Fowler /Paul Newman and possibly soon to be departed, well kerCHINGED Patrick Swayze...
OK - forget those names I have just mentioned up above - money DOES NOT AND WILL NOT save a life.
I'm sure that woman is getting the best care possible whether its NHS or private. I dont think for ONE MINUTE that some doc told the family to stump up a hundred grand and all will be well
sorry and all that - its a sob story - HIS sob story, just like many of the rest of us have
