When I redecorated my girls bedroom they had new beds too (too old for their bunk beds now) and they have a slide storage bit on the beds so they can put stuff underneath. Anyway, our cats kept getting stuck inside the drawer bit; We'd suddenly hear scratching and realise they had got in without us noticing, and then one of my girls had shut it thinking it'd been left open Anyway, one day we realised that Cleo mustve been in there for about 3 hours! Nobody would admit to leaving the drawer open, or shutting it. I kept telling everyone to be careful etc. Then, last night, my daughter woke up about 3 o clock in the morning and found Storm pushing the little handle bit on the slide storage compartment and letting himself in, underneath the bed! So, nobody was ever the culprit it seems, they were letting themselves in and then we were locking them inside Must admit, I do think they are quite clever kitties tho, knowing how to do it

My cats can do that, too.
My best cat story is when we moved into our new house and our cat followed us into the loft. He somehow found his way into the neighbour's roof. We tried for ages to get him to come back but all we could hear were faint cries. Then when we went out the front door to entice him back we looked up there was our cat sat in next door's bedroom window, meowing like the dickins. They'd obviously left their loft cover open and he'd jumped down.
The lady living there was away for the weekend and had to travel 10 miles to let it out. First time we met her, too. Oooopps.
How funny! Seems like you have a mad cat too! When I was a teen and living at home, one of our cats would climb through our next door neighbours top window and then when he came home he'd knock on our door and say" can you come and get your cat please, hes asleep on my bed"!!!!quote:Originally posted by little_mrs_bb:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:

My very large german Shepherd can open the child gate from the kitchen to the loungee, stands back, tail on high, while 9 little English Toy Terriers race through!!
My cat, Santa baby, had a bed on the kitchen table but often i find him and the shepherd on the rug just lieing there gazing at each other with effection, its very moving.. late at night i send the Shep out to get the cat in..

Now that is embarrassing, especially if it's more than just the one time.

It was. He was a real charecter And, the other next door neighbour on the other side; She'd be washing up in her kitchen and suddenly he would come swinging through her back door He learned how to push the handle down to open it and would hang on and let himself inquote:Originally posted by little_mrs_bb:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:How funny!
