why can they not just say I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THE 100 GRAND

I do not understand this at all

They think it makes them look good saying they dont care about it,when in fact it does complete opposite because its all fake

Marcus said the rest would not use the money wisely none of his business not up to him what people would do with prize money,does that mean he would be better off with it,because he wouldnt do that.Whatever marcus wants to do with money fair play to him,none of his buisness what anyone else wants to do with it no rights or wrongs.

Siavash has been going on about giving his to charity and seeing would the others do that as well,not his business to put people on spot to look bad saying no,because that is what it would do.If he wants to give to charity thats his buisness.So what if others do not want to do that.Fair play if it is charity he wants to give it do but so what if others dont.

Charlie he wants to help his mum thats fair enough why not do that discreetly like criag and not anounce it all and everyone at whatever chance he gets to boost his chances.Pathetic

Dave lisa rod sophie would all love 100 grand it would change their lives so why all the pretence of not letting on it matters.I was never here for money,so what if there is none load of tripe.

I would have more respect for anyone who would openly admit I would flipping love to win 100 grand and I hope I do.

It baffles me why they aren't gutted at the idea of no prize money. It's almost like admitting that they aren't in it for the prize money, but for the magazine deals, etc.

Of course, it could be that some of them are resigned to the fact that they won't win, so the prize money doesn't mean that much to them.
However, what I'm finding really interesting is comparing the current disinterest in bumping up the prize fund with just what some of that crowd were prepared to do at the start of the show in order to become fully-fledged HMs...

To admit that they're bothered about the prize money is to admit that they see themselves as potential winners. Being as they are all supposedly there for the "experience" contemplating winning means that they somehow have the dreaded "gameplan", which no HM will admit to but believes every other HM has.
It's all pretty much hypocrisy really.

They all must have high hopes of been winners at this stage in the show, Lisa thinks the public must like her because she stayed after she was up when Hira went, David is gagging to win, Charlie thinks he has it in the bag

Marcus thinks we all love his pathetic diary room rants (not me) Roddy, who knows what he is actually expecting from the show??? Sophie, well Sophie i'm not sure she's aware of where she's been for the last few weeks

Siavash can't decide if he's genuine or not???? but "trust me" they all want the money.

I think it would be hard to admit you want the money as that can be seen as being greedy and playing the game, which it is a game and it is not greedy they are all in it to win it,we had Luke last year who kept on about others playing the game to win the 100K that would be enough to make any of them not admit they want the money.

They could even admit now with it being so close how they would love the money and what they would do,but they are afraid of what people think its so much more fake when they dont say it

Yeh i agree, if they kick up a stink about the money they will be called greedy but if they say they aren't interested we still think they are trying to get the public to think they are all in it for the fun or "experience" no win situation
