On last nights highlights, Marcus was whinging on and on about Charlie not doing his share of the cycling task... He was speaking normally, slagging him off ect, that is until Charlie came into the garden, then Marcus lowered his voice to almost a whisper to call Charlie 'f**king useless'

How come Marcus never 'tells it as it is' when it comes to Charlie? Lisa had to instead.

Is it because from day 1 he's singled out Charlie as the winner and Marcus is trying to ride Charlie's coat tails to the final while trying not to upset all of Charlie's fans?

We know Charlie's not popular but Marcus thinks he's the winner.

I think it deserves a thread of it's own Big Grin

It's all about projection with Marcus..Repressing his own thoughts and feelings and then attributing them to someone else.

He's a bullshitter but calls Vash one.

He bumlicks Charlie but calls the hm's bumlickers. Ect..

He's had a go at Lisa, Bea and Sophie. Nice Disappointed

Had a go? He rightly defended his corner with Lisa and Bea..there is a difference.

His rudeness to Sophie is "His sense of humour." Shake Head
He can be very crude and insensitive with her. She`s young. He`s unaware that it doesn`t appeal.
He`s got a lot to learn.

Nod It is painful watching try and relate to women...he can't. He reminds me of a character in a book that I can't bliddy remember.....who has to try and capture women to keep them near him....The Butterfly Collector???

Here's the plot... Freddie is an inept bank clerk with no future. His only hobby is collecting butterflies toy dolls, which gives him a feeling of power and control that is otherwise totally missing from his life. He comes into a large sum of money, and buys himself a country house. Still unable to make himself at ease socially, he starts to plan on acquiring a girl friend - in the same manner as he collects butterflies toy dolls. He prepares the cellar of the house to be a collecting jar, and stalks his victim over several days.

It's uncanny Eeker Wink

Yesterday i read a thread which mentioned Marcus was having a go at Sophie again and he said he was going to put his pri@k in her mouth Sick
Did anyone else watch this, it was supposed to be on l/f?

No but i did see the bit where he said in order for Sophie to have one of his cans of cider she'd have to admit to sucking Freddie's c*ck. Disappointed

Possibly because they all feel sorry for him because of his Mum?
I've wondered why Marcus seems to connect with Charlie, who's probably nominated as much as anyone in the house, and I've no time for any of these various Marcus is a coward, or a bully or has issues with women theories which seem to have been dragged up from the depths of week 2, so I do find your explanation very plausible.

Marcus has very strongly implied that Charlie's 'entertainment' is just for the public and it is boring. This was when he was talking with Freddie and Siavash. He also talked about the boredom of having to witness Charlie and Rodrigo's fights and make ups. They are not A-listers I think he said, they haven't got involved in the main storylines of the series.

So what if Marcus has a 'Big Brother' relationship with Charlie, he has to try and get on with someone in there. He still completely sees through him however whatever lies some people wish to spread here.
