I think that C4 have taken a basically great programme and over the past 9 years have driven it further and further into the gutter that even the gutter press are no longer interested.
A new company should take it up and do the following:-
1. Take 12 housemates and run the show for 10 weeks - no newbies - only if one walks.
2. The HMs would get up at 8.00am and 'work' from 9 to 12 doing charity work - assembling poppies/sunflowers/daffodils for various charities.
3. The food would be provided from a limited menu list - ensuring good wholesome food and a selection of various meats etc to give some variety.
4. Luxuries - sweets, cigs etc would be earned from the charity work.
5. The prize fund would be split into 10 equal parts and each part allocated to one week.
6. The tasks would all be quantifiable numerically - no 'judging' and each would be measured as a percentage achievement - that percentage would be applied to the prize fund for that week and the result banked for the winner. The tasks should be both entertaining, challenging and educational (build a car engine - wallpaper, paint and decorate a room)
7. The nomination process would be to nominate two HMs each week the highest two being given imunity - all the rest go up for public vote.
8. No messing with the fundamental rules by BB.
9. Scrap the rubbish that is BBLB and BBBM and restore DR Uncut and the psycology programme with a GOOD presenter who is professional and UNBIASED.
10. MOST IMPORTANT - RESTORE LIVEFEED.
