Bucket loads of smugness there. Looks like we'll be seeing yet another property porn show to fill the space left. Or maybe they think that they need the slot for more Friends repeats.

I think we all knew it was coming. BB was great in its day but after BB7 had become too predictable.
Don't expect it to be replaced by anything better though. They said Richard and Judy had their day but replaced it with that unwatchable rubbish Wogans Recall.

I like how Channel 4 are taking credit for changing the face of reality TV.
I do believe BB was first shown on Dutch television, so it was they who changed reality TV not C4.

Saw it coming anyway. When Kevin Lygo took over at C4 last year or thereabouts, the first thing he did was say there was no future on the channel for BB.

They see themselves as some kind of high-brow "public service" broadcaster, and BB doesn't fit in with their aspirations. Lah-di-dahhh...

So more room for stuff along the lines of The World's Fattest/Hairiest/Chavviest Teens, or Embarrassing Illnesses/Bodies/Mothers-in-Law, then.

Apart from BB the only other thing I watch from C4 is The big bang theory. If that was shown somewhere else C4 could disappear for all I cared.

I can't stand those two programmes and the numerous Friends and Simpsons.
Sky have three channels, again some with the usual repetitive stuff; I would think they could use one for LF and even dedicate it to a BB series. That would win a fair few over to them. I always forget to look and haven't bothered with Sky for ages. Even Virgin bragged their channels were going to be 'shithot', but never were, I think I watched Sarah Connor Chronicles, or whatever it was called, for a short while.
